About the event
AAUW of Hawaii is organizing an Equal Pay Lobby Day on March 15th to advocate with Hawaii state legislators for the equal pay bill, SB1057. We are also joining Planned Parenthood Advocates Alliance Hawaii to advocate for reproductive rights bills including SB1. We will also join in on Senate and House floor sessions 11:30AM to 12:30PM. Keala Kennelly, a pro surfer, who advocated for Bill 10 , will be joining us. Bill 10 passed in 2020 led to six women surfers competing in The Eddie this year for the first time in history of The Eddie.
