International Women Day

AAUW’s 142 year history parallels Women’s History in the United States (and more). We know of AAUW’s humble beginning in 1881 when 15 educated women met to discuss the need for more women to have access to higher education.  We know AAUW for our fellowships, scholarships and grants.  We know AAUW for our research and advocacy for equal pay, Title IX to name few.
