AAUW Legacy Circle

The national AAUW Legacy Circle is made up of AAUW members – and some non-members – who have included national AAUW in their will or estate planning.

Planned giving isn’t just about funds — it’s a statement about a belief in AAUW's mission and its future. For each of us, philanthropy is intensely personal and we all donate for different reasons. People support their passions, and donating is an expression of our values and our vision of the world we hope to create for the next generations. The AAUW mission covers many interests, and including AAUW in your will or estate planning continues your commitment to the issues that are important to you.

Every contribution, big or small, holds immense value. There’s no minimum amount required for leaving a planned gift and the donor doesn’t need to tell anyone - not even AAUW – the amount of the gift. It's the intention behind the gift that truly matters.

When you include a gift to AAUW in your long-term estate or financial plans, there is a form to be filled out and signed, notifying the national office of that fact. Some members already have AAUW in their will and have never told anyone. Please tell us at AAUW so that we may thank and honor you!

As a member of the AAUW Legacy Circle, you will receive a beautiful pin designed by Swarovski to honor your generosity and commitment to the future of women and girls. This pin is a gold wreath adorned with pavé crystals and trimmed with a gold ribbon that proudly proclaims, “A Legacy of Equity.” At the base of the wreath is an open book. Each year AAUW Legacy Circle members receive invitations to special AAUW talks and events, along with a personal birthday card, a Valentine’s Day card in February and an Equity Day card in August.

Legacy Circle members are ensuring that AAUW's mission continues through the support of planned giving, which is an enduring legacy that will support women and girls log into the future. Mahalo for your consideration.
